Throughout the experience, students navigate between their personal digital science lab journal at biodive.killersnails.com and immersive field expeditions to regions like the Eastern Atlantic, Eastern Pacific, and Indo-Pacific Oceans. They engage in making observations, gathering data, collaborating with peers, and integrating their knowledge to formulate formal hypotheses concerning how various variables impact the dynamics of diverse ocean ecosystems. Designed by a team of educators and scientists, BioDive aims to replicate the scientific inquiry and discovery process. Students use VR technology for observations while employing laptops to organize data and showcase their learning outcomes.
